Why PBHR for Tents

Tents Are Different. We Treat Them That Way.

Tents fail in two places — bad anchoring and bad setup. We do both right, every time.

01

Fully Insured + COI Ready

$3M liability coverage. We send certificates of insurance to venues, churches, and corporate clients on request — free for nonprofits.

02

Setup & Takedown Done

Our crew levels the site, anchors the frame, and comes back to break it down. You don’t touch a stake.

03

Stake or Weight Anchored

Grass installs use 3-foot heavy-duty spikes. Concrete or asphalt installs use water-barrel weights — typically 4–6 per 20×20.

04

Smokies-Familiar Crew

We’ve tented Gatlinburg overlook cabin weddings, Convention Center corporate events, and Roaring Fork reunions since 2020. We know the Parkway, the access roads, and the wind patterns at the ridge cabins.

FAQs

Gatlinburg Tent Rental Questions

Real questions Gatlinburg hosts ask before booking. Don’t see yours? Text or call (865) 419-0090.

What size tent do I need for my Gatlinburg destination event?
Quick rule: 10×10 fits 8–10 seated, 10×20 fits 16–20, 20×20 fits 32–40, and a 20×40 fits 64–80 seated. For standing-room cocktail style, double those numbers. Add space for buffet tables, dance floor, or DJ if needed — and round up. We’re happy to size it on a quick call.
How far in advance should I book a tent in Gatlinburg?
For Gatlinburg cabin destination weddings and Convention Center corporate events, book 10–16 weeks out — Gatlinburg destination weddings are our longest lead-time bookings and 20×40 high-peak tents at overlook cabins sell out first. Smaller canopies for family reunions can sometimes book 3 weeks out. The $50 non-refundable deposit holds your date.
What happens if it rains on my event day?
Gatlinburg mountain weather is more variable than valley weather and shifts fast at higher elevation cabins. We monitor afternoon thunderstorms and ridge wind gusts and call the morning of when conditions matter. High-peak tents handle rain. Severe weather (sustained 25+ mph winds, lightning, tornado watches) can require delayed setup or early breakdown.
Do tents need stakes? What if my venue is concrete?
Grass installs get heavy-duty 3-foot stakes. Concrete, asphalt, or paver installs use water-barrel weights — typically 4–6 barrels per 20×20 tent, more for 20×40. We bring everything; you don’t need to source anything. Always tell us your surface type when you book so we load the right anchors.
Can I add sidewalls and lighting?
Yes — sidewalls (clear or solid white) and string lighting are paid add-ons available for 20×20 and 20×40 high-peak tents. Add them at checkout or call us to upgrade an existing booking. We also rent outdoor heaters ($99) for fall/winter events and cold sparkler machines ($129) for wedding entrances and grand reveals.
Can tents be set up indoors?
Most tents are designed for outdoor use — they need stakes or weights and clearance for the high-peak frames. For indoor decor (warehouse weddings, gym events), we’d recommend pipe-and-drape or a small canopy footprint instead. Reach out and we’ll talk through what fits your space.
How does the deposit and payment work?
A $50 non-refundable deposit locks in your tent and date the moment you book online. Final balance is charged 5 days before delivery. We accept all major cards. For corporate clients and nonprofits, we can invoice on Net 30 terms — just contact us to set that up.
Do you deliver to Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg / Sevierville?
Yes — Gatlinburg is our furthest Smokies destination. We tent cabin overlook weddings, Convention Center events, and Roaring Fork family reunions throughout Gatlinburg plus Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. Gatlinburg destination zone fee applies given the drive.

Tent Rental FAQs — Gatlinburg

The questions we hear most from Gatlinburg couples, event planners, and venue coordinators.

Do you deliver tents to Gatlinburg cabins and venues?

Yes — Gatlinburg, Cobbly Nob, Chalet Village, and Pittman Center are all in our delivery zone. We have delivered tents to mountain-view cabin weddings, leaf-peeping retreats, and Smokies destination ceremonies.

Can you tent a destination wedding in Gatlinburg?

Yes — Gatlinburg destination weddings are one of our specialties. We coordinate with the cabin rental company on setup window, parking, and tear-down. White frame tents look spectacular against the Smokies backdrop.

Will Gatlinburg mountain switchbacks or steep driveways affect tent delivery?

Our crews handle Gatlinburg mountain roads regularly. Cobbly Nob switchbacks and Chalet Village steep driveways are routine for our delivery trucks. Send us the cabin name + rental company and we will confirm access.

What size tent for a Gatlinburg leaf-peeping fall wedding?

For October leaf-peeping weddings (which book 9–12 months out), the 20×40 high-peak with clear or white sidewalls is the most popular. The clear sidewalls let guests enjoy the fall mountain views even with weather contingency.

Do you have rain-plan tents for Smoky Mountain weather?

Yes — every tent rental includes anchoring, sidewall add-on options, and a free weather call 24 hours before delivery. The Smokies are unpredictable; our rain-plan tents handle wind up to 25 mph and steady rain comfortably.

How early should I book a Gatlinburg wedding tent?

Gatlinburg cabin weddings (especially leaf-peeping season + summer holidays) book 6 to 12 months out. Larger receptions and unique cabin venues fill earliest. A $50 deposit locks the date — refundable if we cannot deliver due to weather.
