The Field Day Partner East Tennessee Schools Trust
Since 2020 we’ve delivered school field day rentals across Knox County, Knoxville City Schools, and the surrounding districts — Farragut, Maryville, Oak Ridge, Alcoa, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Lenoir City, Clinton, and Powell. We’ve staged rotation stations for K-2 popsicle parties at West Knox elementary schools, full grade-level field days at middle schools in Farragut and Maryville, end-of-year blowouts at Oak Ridge K-8 campuses, and after-school spring carnivals at PTA fundraisers across East Tennessee. We know which obstacle course fits a gym floor without scuffing it, which dual-lane slide drains right on a sloped soccer field, and which interactive games run 8-10 minute rotation slots so every grade gets a turn before lunch.
Best Rentals for School Field Days
A pre-tested lineup PE teachers and Field Day chairs in Knoxville rebook every year. Mix any 3 of these and you’ve got a four-hour rotation that runs itself.

Obstacle Courses
9 obstacle courses — single-lane head-to-head, two-lane race, or 40-ft mega courses. The #1 booked unit at K-8 field days. Built for 8-minute rotation slots, handles 25-30 kids per cycle.

Water Slides & Dual-Lane Slides
27 slides — single, dual-lane for grade-vs-grade races, and combo slide+bounce units. Cool down hot kids on Field Day Friday. Dry-slide option for indoor gyms or paved lots.

Interactive Games
16+ games — Giant Connect 4, axe throwing, foosball, jousting, bungee run, Snow Globe. Perfect for skill-based stations between inflatables. Adults love watching, kids love winning.

Combo Bouncers
28 combos with built-in slide, basketball hoop, and obstacle. One unit, three activities — saves field space and rotation time. Great for self-contained classrooms.

Bounce Houses
24+ bouncers sized for K-2 — themed (princess, sports, jungle) or classic colors. The right scale for younger kids who get overwhelmed in bigger units.

Your School Field Day Planning Checklist
Six steps every PE teacher and Field Day chair in Knoxville uses to pull off a field day without the day-of scramble.
1. Lock the Date 6+ Weeks Out
End-of-year (last week of school) and Field Day Friday slots in May fill 4-6 weeks ahead. Book early to lock the rotation lineup you actually want, not the leftover units.
2. Pick One MVP + 2 Backups
The MVP is your obstacle course or dual-lane slide — every kid wants on it. Build 2 lower-energy stations around it (interactive games, treat station) so the line never gets overwhelming.
3. Map Stations to Grade Slots
K-2 kids burn out fast, 6-8 graders need challenge. Rotate younger grades through bouncers + games first while energy is fresh; save obstacle courses + slides for 3-8.
4. Walk the Site With Us
Send us a photo of the field or gym + power outlet location. We’ll confirm setup zone, water hookup (for slides), and break-down access in 5 minutes — no surprises day-of.
5. Brief Volunteers & Crew
Two adults per inflatable is the school-event minimum. We hand you a one-page rotation map + safety brief on arrival so volunteers know exactly what to do.
6. Hand the Stress to Us
We deliver early, anchor everything to code, hand off, and break down at your scheduled pickup window. You run the day; we handle the gear.

Whether it’s a 90-kid K-2 morning or a 600-student campus-wide event, we scale the lineup to the schedule.
Field Day Inflatables for Schools

Indoor Field Day Rentals (Gym Floors)
Rain-out plan? Several units fit standard school gyms — we’ll measure access doors and ceiling height before delivery. Dry-slide and game-station combos work great on hardwood.
End-of-Year Reward Parties
Foam parties, water slides, and snow-cone stations turn the last day into the highlight of the year. Bundle 3+ units for a campus-wide blowout discount.
Pick the Perfect Field Day Setup by Grade
Younger kids need scaled-down inflatables and shorter rotation cycles. Older grades want challenge and competition. Here’s how we tier the recommendation.
Grades K-2 (Ages 5-8)
Bounce houses (themed), small combo units with a built-in slide, snow-cone treat station. Lower energy threshold — keep rotations to 6-8 minute slots. Avoid full obstacle courses and dual-lane slides until 3rd grade.
Recommended: 1 bounce house + 1 small combo + treat station
Grades 3-5 (Ages 8-11)
Obstacle courses, dual-lane slides, combo bouncers with hoops, interactive games (Connect 4, foosball). The sweet spot — kids are big enough for the fun stuff, still happy with bouncers between turns.
Recommended: obstacle course + dual-lane slide + interactive games + treat station
Grades 6-8 (Ages 11-14)
Mega obstacle courses, race-format slides, skill-based interactive games (axe throwing, bungee run, jousting), foam parties for end-of-year. Middle schoolers want competition and bragging rights.
Recommended: mega obstacle + race slide + 2-3 interactive games + foam reward
Tell us your grade levels + headcount when you book — we’ll suggest the lineup that fits your field and your bell schedule.
School Field Day Rental FAQs
How far in advance should we book school field day rentals in Knoxville?
6+ weeks for end-of-year (May) and Field Day Friday slots. Earlier is better — Knox County and Knoxville City Schools all book their May slots by mid-March most years. Off-peak (Aug-Sept and Oct fall festivals) we can usually accommodate 2-3 weeks out.
Do you invoice schools and districts with a PO?
Yes. We work with Knox County Schools, Knoxville City Schools, and surrounding districts on POs and net-30 invoicing. Call (865) 419-0090 to set up your district’s vendor profile — most of ours are already on file. The $50 non-refundable deposit still applies to lock the date; final invoice goes out post-event.
Can we set up inflatables on a school field, paved lot, or gym floor?
All three — every unit specifies an approved surface. Grass and turf get standard stakes; paved lots and gym floors get sandbag anchoring (no damage to the surface). Send us a photo of the proposed setup zone when you book and we’ll confirm fit + anchor plan before delivery day.
How many inflatables do we need for a 90-student field day?
Three to four rotating stations works best. Two inflatables (one obstacle/slide MVP + one combo or bouncer) plus an interactive game station and a treat station = four rotations of 20-25 kids each on 8-minute timers. That keeps lines short and everyone moves through every station before lunch.
Do attendants come with the rental, or do we staff stations ourselves?
Inflatable monitors are not included in the base rental price — we deliver, set up, and pick up. Most schools staff 2 adults per inflatable (PE teachers, parent volunteers, or hired attendants). We can quote paid attendants if you’d rather not coordinate volunteers. Mechanical bull rentals are the exception — those include 2 trained operators in the price.
What happens if it rains on field day?
We monitor weather daily the week of your event. If it’s a hard rain-out you can reschedule once at no extra charge (subject to availability). For light showers, most inflatables operate fine — water slides are designed wet, and dry inflatables tolerate intermittent rain. Indoor backup? Several units fit standard school gyms; ask when you book.
What does delivery cost? Is it included?
Delivery is zone-based and quoted up front when you check availability — never a surprise fee. Most Knox County and Knoxville City Schools sit inside our standard delivery range. Distant cities (Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, Maryville) have a small per-mile add-on. We always confirm the total before you book.
Can we bundle multiple units for a big multi-grade field day?
Yes — every multi-unit booking gets bundle pricing. A typical campus-wide K-8 field day books 4-6 units across the morning. Larger 600+ student events have run 8-10 units across two delivery windows. Call (865) 419-0090 and we’ll quote the lineup.
