What Knoxville Uses Our Generators For
From a backyard birthday at the park to a 200-vendor festival to a powerless Tuesday after a storm — here’s where they earn their keep.
Backyard & Park Events
Bouncers, water slides, and combo units need power. If your party is at a Knox County park pavilion or a backyard with no outlet within 100 feet, the 4,375W or 6,500W has you covered.
Festivals, Carnivals & School Events
Multi-inflatable setups, sound systems, and concession machines pull serious wattage. The 9,000W runs up to 5 blowers — exactly what church festivals, school field days, and community carnivals need.
Food Trucks & Outdoor Weddings
Outdoor wedding venue without enough plugs? Food truck booked at a private estate? Caterers in a field? We rent generators to vendors, planners, and venues — no inflatable rental required.
Power Outage Backup
East TN storms knock out power for days. The 6,500W keeps your fridge, freezer, internet, and a few essentials running. Same-day delivery available across Knox County during outages.
Why Knoxville Books PBHR Generators
Four sizes, three reasons we’re the call when the power has to work — for the party, the festival, the food truck, or the storm.
Delivered Fueled & Tested
Every unit gets started, load-tested, and topped off before it leaves the shop. You don’t run to a gas station the morning of your event. We hand you a generator that’s already running — pull the cord and go.
Sized For Your Setup
Tell us what you’re powering — bouncers, sound, food truck, lights — and we’ll match the right wattage. No oversized rental, no underpowered embarrassment, no tripped breakers two hours into your event.
One Truck, Done Right
Renting inflatables too? Same crew, same delivery, one invoice. Just need a generator? That works too — we’ll bring it on its own and pick it back up. $50 non-refundable deposit locks the date.
How Booking a Generator Works

What Knoxville Says About Our Generators
Real customers, real events, real power. Here’s what East TN says when the lights stay on.
“Booked the 6,500W for our daughter’s birthday at Concord Park — pavilion didn’t have working outlets. PBHR delivered it already running, showed my husband how to top off the gas, and the bouncer + slide ran all afternoon without a hiccup.”
“Our church festival had three inflatables, a sound system, and a popcorn machine. Other rental companies told us we’d need two generators — PBHR sent the 9,000W and it powered everything from 10am to 8pm. Crew was super professional.”
“Storm took out our power for three days last summer. Called PBHR and they had a 6,500W at our house in two hours. Kept the fridge, freezer, fans, and Wi-Fi running until LCUB got the lines back. Lifesaver.”
Generator Rental FAQ
The questions Knoxville renters ask most.
How much does it cost to rent a generator in Knoxville?
Generator rentals in Knoxville start at $139 for our 4,375 watt unit, $169 for the 6,500 watt, $209 for the 9,000 watt, and $269 for the 13,000 watt. Each generator is delivered fueled, tested, and ready. A 5-gallon gas refill add-on is available at booking. Multi-day rentals scale down per day — for example, 2 days on the 6,500W is $338, a full week is $1,183. Delivery fees are based on your zip code and shown at checkout.
What size generator do I need for a bounce house?
One bounce house blower draws roughly 1,000-1,500 watts. The 4,375W generator powers 1-2 inflatables and is the right pick for backyard parties at parks where outlets are far. The 6,500W generator powers 2-4 inflatables — perfect for a combo unit + water slide. The 9,000W generator powers up to 5 blowers (3-4 inflatables) and is the unit we send to school field days, church festivals, and large outdoor events. If you’re not sure, call us with your inventory list and we’ll size it for you.
Do generator rentals include gas?
Yes — every generator is delivered fueled and ready to run. For most single-day events that’s plenty of runtime. If you need more, we offer a 5-gallon gas refill as an add-on at checkout, which gets you several extra hours depending on the load. For multi-day rentals you’ll need to top off gas yourself between days, or schedule a refill stop with us.
Can I rent a generator without renting a bounce house?
Absolutely. We rent generators on their own for food trucks, weddings, outdoor catering, festivals, vendor booths, construction sites, and storm-day backup. No inflatable required. Just pick your wattage, set your event date, and we’ll deliver fueled and tested.
How long does the generator run on one tank?
Runtime depends on load. Under a typical bounce house load (1-3 blowers), our 6,500W and 9,000W units run roughly 6-10 hours on a full tank. Lighter loads (lights, sound, small concessions) extend that significantly. Heavy loads (full inflatable lineup, food truck equipment) burn faster. We recommend the 5-gallon gas refill add-on for any event running 6+ hours under heavy load.
Do you deliver generators to parks, pavilions, and remote sites?
Yes — we deliver generators to Knox County parks (Lakeshore, Victor Ashe, Concord), state parks (Norris Dam, Cove Lake, Big Ridge, Melton Hill), church camps, private land, food truck events, and any outdoor venue across Knoxville, Farragut, Maryville, Oak Ridge, Powell, Clinton, Lenoir City, Sevier County, and the rest of East Tennessee. Free Certificates of Insurance (COIs) are emailed same-day for any venue that requires one.
Are your generators safe to run near guests?
Our generators are safe when placed properly — at least 20 feet from people and tents, downwind, on a flat surface, with the exhaust pointed away from the crowd. We’ll show you the safe placement when we deliver. Never run a generator inside a building, garage, or enclosed tent because of carbon monoxide risk. We tag every unit with safety instructions.
What’s the booking and delivery process?
Pick your generator, enter your event date and address, and pay a $50 non-refundable deposit to lock the date. We schedule a delivery window that fits your event start time, deliver fueled and tested, place it safely on site, and pick it up after. Booking takes about 2 minutes online or one call to (865) 419-0090.
