1. Count Your Blowers Before You Count Your Trunks
Every inflatable needs its own blower running all night, and concession machines pull real power too. Send us your wish list and we’ll size the generators for you — a five-minute call that prevents the most common trunk or treat failure in Knoxville.
2. Light the Lot, Not Just the Trunks
Your event runs 5:30 to 8:00 and the sun is down by 6:45 in late October. Plan for half your night to happen in the dark: lit inflatables, a lit concession tent, and exterior lights on a timer that fires before dusk, not after.
3. Put the Inflatables at the Far End
Kids walk toward the bounce house, and everything between the entrance and that bounce house gets visited. Put your biggest inflatable at the opposite end of the lot from check-in and line the trunks along the path between — nobody’s trunk gets skipped.
4. Book by Mid-September
The last two Saturdays of October are the tightest dates on our calendar — tighter than any spring weekend. Reserve by mid-September for first pick of equipment, and hold the date with a $50 non-refundable deposit while your team finalizes the plan.
5. Get the COI Before Your Board Asks For It
Most property committees want proof before an inflatable touches the lot. We send a Certificate of Insurance naming your church as additional insured, free, before your event — plus a W-9 for your bookkeeper, all in one email.
6. Stretch It Into a Weekend
Plenty of Knoxville churches run a fall series: trunk or treat Saturday, then the same equipment for Sunday kids’ ministry or a family night. Multi-day bookings of 3+ consecutive days get 20% off — usually less than renting twice in one month.

Trunk or Treat Rental Questions
Do we need electricity in our parking lot for the inflatables?
You need power, but you don’t need outlets. Every inflatable runs a blower continuously, and church lots rarely have usable power where you want the equipment. We keep 12 generators and size them to your exact equipment list before we quote, so nothing runs on extension cords.
Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance naming our church?
Yes. We are fully insured, and we send a Certificate of Insurance naming your church as additional insured free of charge before your event. We also keep a W-9 on file. Ask when you book and both documents go out in the same email.
What happens if it rains on our trunk or treat night?
Late October in East Tennessee is unpredictable, so we watch the forecast with you. Light drizzle is usually fine, but sustained rain or unsafe winds mean we do not run inflatables. Call as early as you can and we will work with you on rescheduling.
How much does a trunk or treat setup cost in Knoxville?
Our average order runs about $450. Bounce houses start at $129, interactive games at $139, combos at $249 and obstacle courses at $319, with generators quoted to your equipment list. Send us your expected head count and we will build a package around it.
When should we book our October date?
Book by mid-September. The last two Saturdays of October are the tightest dates on our entire calendar, and equipment selection thins out fast. Two weeks out is our general minimum for peak weekends, but for trunk or treat the good dates go in early fall.
Do our volunteers have to run the inflatables?
No. We deliver, set up, anchor and tear down everything, so your volunteers only supervise kids at each unit. If your roster is thin, we have attendants available to staff units for you. Many churches book attendants for the big pieces and cover the game stations themselves.
Do you accept purchase orders or invoice the church?
Yes. We have a W-9 on file and accept purchase orders and net-30 terms for churches and schools. A $50 non-refundable deposit still holds the date at booking, and the balance can run through your normal accounts-payable process instead of a volunteer’s personal card.
Can we keep the rentals for more than one day?
Absolutely, and it is often the smart move. Multi-day bookings of three or more consecutive days get 20% off, so a church running a fall series — trunk or treat Saturday, then the same equipment for Sunday kids’ ministry — usually pays less than two separate rentals.
