How many units should we rent for our crowd?
Rough guide: 1 unit per 20-30 kids keeps line waits under 5 minutes. 50-75 kids = 2 units (bouncer + water slide). 100+ kids = 3 units side-by-side. Add concessions and yard games to take pressure off the inflatables and feed everyone. Call us with your headcount and we’ll size the package.
Do you set up tents and provide seating?
Yes — we rent 20×20 and 20×40 high-peak tents, plus rectangular and round tables, plus white folding chairs. Many block parties book a 20×40 tent over the food/treat table to keep snacks shaded and dry. View tent options here.
What if our neighborhood doesn’t have good parking?
Our trucks fit any standard Knoxville suburban street. We’ll work with your street captain to find a delivery slot — usually 30-60 minutes before guests arrive. If parking is tight, we can stage in a neighbor’s driveway with their permission. Just let us know the access constraint when you book.
How long can we keep the equipment?
Standard rental is one day (4-8 hours of use). We can extend to overnight or multi-day for HOA weekend events — ask us about the multi-day rate. Pickup typically happens that evening before sunset or the next morning by 10am.
Do we need a permit for a Knoxville street block party?
If you’re closing a public street, the City of Knoxville requires a special-event permit ($25-100, 14-30 days notice). HOA private streets and cul-de-sacs in private communities usually don’t need a city permit but check with your HOA board. Church and community-center events on private property are exempt.
Can you provide insurance for our HOA or church?
Yes — free of charge. We carry $3 million in liability insurance and issue Certificates of Insurance naming your HOA, management company, or church as additional insured. Forward your insurance contact’s requirements and we’ll have the COI within 24 hours.
Can we have a kid zone and an adult zone at the same event?
Absolutely — this is one of our favorite block party setups. Kid zone: bouncer + water slide + concessions + foam machine. Adult zone (separated by 15-20 feet): mechanical bull + axe throw + yard games + outdoor movie at sundown. Different surfaces, different vibes, same event.
What ages are the inflatables safe for?
Bounce houses: ages 3-12. Combo units: 3-14. Water slides: 5-adult depending on height of slide. Obstacle courses: 6-adult. Mechanical bull: 8+ with operator approval. Foam machine: 3+. Tell us the youngest and oldest guest and we’ll steer toward units that work for everyone.
What happens if it rains on our block party day?
Most block parties go forward as planned — inflatables handle light rain, and tents keep guests dry. If there’s a true safety issue (lightning, high winds), we’ll work with you on a reschedule. Your $50 non-refundable deposit applies to a rain date within 12 months.
