Events for production teams, S&S, and support staff tend to happen at Bissell Park, Big Turtle Park, or Melton Lake Park. Mix is heavy on family-friendly inflatables, dunk tanks (popular shift-supervisor target), and food-truck setups. Crowd is typically 80–300.

ORNL (research division team-builders)

Lab divisions trend toward more “professional retreat” vibe — corporate picnics at Haw Ridge Park, Clark Center Park, or rented event venues. Mix is lighter on inflatables, heavier on tents + tables + AV-friendly setups. Headcounts more often in the 30–150 range, with a fair share of multi-day retreats.

COI, insurance, and site safety requirements

Federal-site contractor requirements are non-negotiable. What we carry:

• $3M general liability (additional insured endorsement available for site PMs)
• $1M auto liability
• Workers’ comp on all crew
• Equipment-specific safety inspections (mech bull, inflatables) renewed annually
• $10K equipment damage protection (optional add-on, 10% of rental)

For Y-12 or ORNL site delivery, we’ll need 5–10 business days lead time on COI doc requests. For off-site park or facility events, COI typically isn’t required but we can provide one within 24 hours if your facility manager asks.

Booking lead time

Anderson County peak corporate-event season runs May through October. Book 4–6 weeks out for early-summer dates. 2 weeks minimum for off-peak weeks. Mechanical bull and tent stock for the last two weekends of June, all of July, and Labor Day weekend disappears first.
