What’s the difference between a combo and a water slide?
A water slide is built to run wet — a big slide with a splash pool at the bottom. A combo is the multitasker: a bounce house and a slide in one unit, and many of ours can run wet or dry. When to go WET
- It’s a hot Knoxville summer day. June through August, water wins — it keeps kids cool and the energy high.
- Ages 5 and up. Older kids and tweens love the speed and the splash.
- You’ve got a hose and a spot for runoff. Grass is ideal; we’ll set it up so the splash drains away from the house.
When to go DRY
- Toddlers and little ones. For ages 2–5, a dry bounce house or dry combo is safer and easier. See our classic bounce houses.
- Cooler days, indoor venues, or evening parties. No water, no wet clothes, no fuss.
- Mixed-age crowds. A dry combo lets everyone bounce and slide without swimsuits.

Two quick things: space (you’ll want the unit’s footprint plus about 5 feet of clearance on all sides and clear overhead — no low branches or power lines), and surface (grass anchors best).
